About hedgetrade

The Hedge platform incorporates blockchain technology directly into its functionality whereby traders send predictions in a smart contract driven «Blueprint» that will perform true or false results based on real market information. Hedge rewards merchants with HEDG tokens for successful predictions paid by Blueprint buyers. If the merchant makes a correct prediction through the project, he will receive the tokens from the shopping audience. Otherwise, the tokens are returned to the buyer as encoded in the smart contract. This automated reward and verification system greatly improves the merchant’s credibility, motivation to succeed and earning potential. Each smart contract is written according to the parameters established by the merchant using the Hedge web application. Any member of the public can «purchase» this analysis or «Project». Depending on the outcome of the Plan (a correct or incorrect commercial forecast), the contract will perform a result when specific parameters are executed. The contract executed will affect the reputation, classification and earnings of the HEDG merchant; HEDG is only granted by the public purchaser to the merchant when carrying out a correct project; otherwise, HEDG tokens are returned to members of the public. This means that members of the public will «pay» the recommendations of the merchants with HEDG only if their model is «true», otherwise the smart contract will perform a «false» result and return the HEDG to the member of the public. The aim of integrating smart contracts into projects is to create a higher level of validation, verification and transparency of the analyst’s performance, which in turn affects their classification and reward.
